Macrowelding

By Macrowelding, we mean spot or projection welding where the powers involved and the sizes of the components reach moderate, if not high, values.

Within this application area, we can find two primary sectors:

1. Automotive, which involves welding parts of the bodywork or structural components.

2. Industry, which includes everything that cannot be attributed to the automotive sector, such as the aerospace, construction, naval, and military sectors.

Welding currents range from 5000A to 350 kA, but the limit can be exceeded in the case of special applications.

The metals that allow the use of this technology can be both ferrous and non-ferrous, such as aluminum alloys or high-strength steels.

Microwelding

Microwelding technology is aimed at the creation of autogenous weld joints.

The applications range from electromechanics (relays, contacts, leads, copper wires, microlaminations, etc.). The currents involved depend on the specific part to be welded and the type of material, starting from 100A and reaching up to a maximum of 10 kA.

Special-Purpose Machines

These are welding systems entirely custom-built for special applications or integrated with special loading and unloading automation.

By following customer requests, sharing ideas with them, and pursuing the same result, COROTRAT designs and builds machines specifically tailored to the customer’s needs.
